I bought these as a bundle, so they were shipped by DHL, hence getting them so quickly - just one day for them to be delivered to me!

Despite what other people may say about this box, I was actually pretty impressed with this box, and all of the products will definitely go into good use! In particular, I really like the lip jelly - it's really moisturising and it smells sooooo good, but the only thing is that it does get surprisingly red after applying just 2 layers onto my lips!! I now take a very small amount with my ring finger, then dab it gently onto my lips - this way, the colour is just right!

I think my picture for the video is 100% better than the box itself, but on the bright side, I'll have a lot of things to give away as presents for Christmas!

REVIEW: INTERCOS SMOOTH SENSITIVE REMOVAL CREAM

The Intercos Smooth Sensitive Removal Cream was featured in Memebox Superbox #24 Waxing.

When summer comes around the corner, every girl needs a proper waxing for her under-arms, legs, arms, and bikini-lines. With Intercos' sensational hair removal cream, waxing can become so much quicker and easier. There's no need for a razor blade or a painful waxing procedure anymore. Simply apply the removal cream and after 5-10 minutes, rinse off in a shower.

How to use:

Apply the removal cream on areas you wish to wax, wait for 5-10 minutes, and then just jump into the shower and rinse off.

Personal View:

The Removal Cream smells like those of Veet, but it's even worse!

The Removal Cream comes in a container where you have to use a spatula to scoop out the cream. Memebox only gave us a wooden spatula (like those in ice-blocks but bigger), so I'm not sure how well you can clean it and reuse it for the next time.

I realised that I needed to use quite a lot in order to cover up all the areas I had hair on, so that's 1/3 of the container gone!

If I remember correctly, you only need to leave the Veet's foam on your body for 3-5 minutes before you can wash it off, but for the Intercos Removing Cream, you need to leave it on for 5-10 minutes before washing it off! Leaving it on for 10 minutes was really troublesome, because I didn't want my clothes to get dirty, so I ended up wearing a towel dress, and clipping up the bottom parts so that the towel wouldn't touch my legs (hubby laughed at me for doing this, because I was doing a hair treatment at the same time, and I looked super crazy with my hair up and dress up -.-). I was really happy to wash it off after 10 minutes, but I realised that it wasn't so easy to wash off with plain water - my legs still had that slippery unclean feeling after washing it with water, and that really bad smell was still there, so I was forced to take another shower with shower gel again! I also realised that the hair on my legs wouldn't wash off by itself, and actually required me to rub my legs with my hands (with some added pressure) to successfully get rid of the hair - super troublesome!

I think it's actually way more convenient if I just used a razor!!!

Final Verdict:

Too smelly

Too time consuming

Too troublesome

Not very effective

I would definitely not repurchase!!!

The only thing I probably won't be using is the razor, as I've previously had bad experiences with it, but I'm surprised they didn't add any tweezers, which are like a necessity to me.

Since using the IOPE Bio Essence Intensive Conditioning and the products from Whamisa, I've fallen in love with using fermented products!! I'm allergic to Penicillin, so I was a bit skeptical at first about using fermented products, but I guess my allergy is not really that severe, so I didn't have any problems using them. I did realise my skin to be brighter after prolonged use of the "IOPE Miracle Water", so when Memebox came out with this box, I purchased it instantly...

I just tried on the Face Sheet Mask - it smells quite nice, has a lot of essence, adheres onto my face very well, shape is okay (the nose has a slit in the middle which is weird, and it doesn't cover the sides of my nose), and it has a cooling effect! After 20 minutes, my face felt very soft and smooth!

All I can say about this box is that it's a great box, and I'm glad I bought it! Memebox needs to have more boxes as good as this!!! If they come out with a Fermented Cosmetics 3, I'd buy it too!!!

REVIEW: VELIEVE WHITE CLAY MASK

Velieve White Clay Mask was featured in Memebox Superbox #13 Pore Care. It is a wash-off type facial pack which contains amazon white clay that claims to absorb excessive sebum and bodily waste and leave your skin clean, soft and dry. It temporarily contracts pores by removing dusty blackheads and helps to cultivate skin elasticity. It contains oat extracts to help maintain skin elasticity, accompanied by echo-certified aloe vera leaf extracts which act to ease stressed skin.

How to use:

Use on a cleansed face. Spread the mask over a damp (but not wet) face, avoiding the eye area. Wait for 10-15 minutes or until the mask dries, and wash off using warm water. Recommended to use once or twice a week.

Personal Experience:

I personally did not find this clay mask to be effective in removing any of my blackheads; however, unlike other clay masks, this did not leave my face feeling dry at all. It also left my face feeling quite soft and smooth, and surprisingly hydrated. I find that the Deep Pore Cleansing Masque from Kiehl's is more effective at removing blackheads, even though that is slightly drying on my face.

There have recently been contamination issues with certain Benton products, particularly in their Snail Bee Essence, where many people have reported actual green mould-like substance in their bottle, and it HAS shown to cause very bad breakouts and reactions in people. Others have reported issues with Benton's ALoe BHA line. The manufacturing date on these products is March 5th, 2014.

Benton says that the Snail Bee Essence was the only product involved, but given that they use the same manufacturing facilities for many of their products, it is strongly advised to patch test your product very carefully on a small section of your skin, such as the back of your hand, before using on your face!

I wasn't overly excited about the products inside, but I am glad that it wasn't just full of sunscreen and oil-free products!!!

I wasn't too happy about the Hope Girl Mascara that I received, as I had just received another one of these in my previous Office Essentials Memebox. The other products are okay, but since it's July already, I doubt I will have any use for the CNKCOS Transformer Solution for cooling sunburnt skin (but yes, it looks like a fun product to try!). The CC cream's packaging is cute, but I seldom use BB or CC creams, so I think I'm left with the sunblock and the whitening essence that I will be using most out of the entire box!

REVIEW: OGCE BLACKHEADS ALL CLEAR NOSE PACK FULL SET

Blackheads and enlarged pores are a major concern of my face (actually it's more of a concern on hubby's face, because since using the Clarisonic Mia2, I have had less blackheads stuck to my nose!), so I recently purchased the Memebox Superbox #13: Pore Care, so I'll be posting a lot on pore care from now on!!

One of the products I received in my Pore Care Superbox is the O'GCE Blackheads All Clear Nose Pack + Pore Tightener Full Set, retailing at a price of USD11 at the Memeshop. It is a two-step system that is designed to remove existing blackheads and whiteheads around your nose, as well as tightening up the pores to control oil product and prevent the formation of new blackheads and whiteheads.

I like how it's a two step product, so after opening up the pores and extracting the blackheads, it also comes with a serum to apply afterwards to help shrink the pores (other products on the market only come with the pore strip, but doesn't teach us how to shrink the pores afterwards!). But like other pore strips, it can be quite a painful experience when peeling off the strip off your nose!!

Inside The Box:

7 x Charcoal Pore Strip

7 x Pore Tightening Serum

How To Use:

Use on a cleansed face.

Wet nose. Remove the pore strip from the plastic film and stick onto your nose.

I wasn't very pleased when I applied the pore strip, as there were no slits in the strip unlike the ones from Bioré, and the strip had a very overwhelming charcoal/smokey smell!!!

Remove the pore strip after 10 minutes or until it becomes completely dry, starting from the ends. Yes, it was quite painful, but the results were quite good!!

Rinse your nose with lukewarm water, and apply the pore tightening serum. 

The pore tightening serum comes in a cute syringe-shaped packet, smells really nice of honey and the camellia flower, but it feels SUPER STICKY (even stickier than glue)!! After 5 minutes after application, the serum dried on my nose, and it even felt like dried glue on my face - considering how sticky it was and how it dried up on my nose, I actually thought they gave me glue instead of serum!!!

I really wanted to leave it like this, because the glue-like-serum tightened my pores, and my pores were no longer visible anymore, but it was so tight that it felt really uncomfortable on my nose, and it was so uncomfortable that I couldn't help peeling the "glue" off my nose...

It obviously didn't feel right, so I did my own research, and apparently, after 5-8 minutes after application, you are supposed to wash it off. If you leave it on for too long, your nose will become slightly red and irritated.

So, if I had followed the instructions on the Info Card, I would have had to sleep with the glue-like-serum on my nose ~ eww!!!

Repurchase?

It was quite a good product, but I think I'd use the rest of the pack on hubby, as he has more blackheads on his nose that can be extracted easily using pore strips (he accepts this method more than using the blackhead extracting stick anyway)!! We would probably repurchase :)
